Role: Assistant Program Coordinator
The Digital Skilling Unit of The Asia Foundation leads projects that advocate for digital inclusion and skilling that aims to bolster capabilities and strengthen online security of underserved populations such as but not limited to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), civil society organizations, non-profit organizations, and other social groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in diplomacy, international relations, economics, political science, or other relevant fields
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Strong coordination and logistics management skills
- Time management skills and ability to stick to timelines
- Stakeholder management and people skills
- Adaptive management skills with ability to manage priorities
- Familiarity with basic productivity tools (e.g. SharePoint / Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace) and program management tools (e.g. Asana, Trello) is a plus
Scope of Work
The selected applicant will be engaged as a full-time consultant and will be responsible for the following functions:
Operations Support
Procurement Support
Travel and Logistics Support
Program Management Support
Reporting and Coordination
The Assistant Program Coordinator will report to the Regional Program Officer and work closely with the Assistant Program Officer to provide day-to-day and regular support on the program management of the TAF Digital Skilling Programs.
This engagement requires in-person work arrangements at The Asia Foundation’s Philippines office in Greenfield Tower, Greenfield District, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila for 4 days a week. Hybrid work arrangements will also be provided to support 1 day work-from-home arrangement. Any flexibility to this arrangement may be discussed with the implementing team.
